pitch us your game.

vibezilla is hand-curated. every live game was personally vetted, and every public creator profile belongs to someone whose work cleared the bar. that's the whole promise to players, and it's why being on the site is worth something.

curated not everything we get in makes it. that's the point.
how it works

profile + game, in one form.

  • Anyone can create a profile. Fill out the "about you" section. We file it as a pending creator.
  • Public visibility is gated. Your profile becomes a live page on vibezilla only after we accept at least one of your games. This is the whole reason being listed here means something.
  • One form covers both shapes. New creator + a game; or new creator with no game ready (we file you for later).
  • We read every submission. We always reply.
the bar

what we look for.

We're not picky about genre, length, or polish. We are picky about whether a game has a point of view. The games we say yes to all share a few traits:

  • One thing, taken seriously. A clear core mechanic, a clear feeling, a clear constraint.
  • Real craft, any aesthetic. Pixel-art, vector, ASCII, photoreal — we don't care. We do care it feels deliberate.
  • Plays in browser, no friction. One click to play. No installs, no sign-ups, no ads gating progress. If it has IAP, it's not for us.
  • Holds up after the joke. Funny premises are great; the game still has to work on minute fifteen.
the no list

what we don't take.

  • games that are mostly an in-app-purchase funnel,
  • games behind a sign-up wall,
  • generative-AI showcases without an actual game underneath,
  • recreations of established arcade games without a clear new take,
  • NFT, crypto, or "play-to-earn" of any flavor,
  • anything that would feel cynical to feature next to a small game made on a weekend.

None of these are insults. They just aren't what vibezilla is for.

what happens next

the process.

  1. You submit. The form sends us a structured pitch. (If our backend is unreachable, your email client opens with the same content pre-filled — same outcome either way.)
  2. We read it. Every one. Within a week or two of you sending. If we're underwater it might be longer — feel free to ping after three weeks of silence.
  3. We play it. If you submitted a game and the pitch lands, we play it properly. Multiple sessions, on at least two devices. (Profile-only? We hold it as pending — no playtest, no rush.)
  4. We decide. Yes, no, or "yes, but here's a small note." We always reply.
  5. If yes: we work with you on the listing. Your creator profile flips public alongside the game. The site keeps your name and links to your stuff, not ours.
