Hi. I’m Ori. I make small browser games.

The arcade you’re looking at is what came out of a few quiet months. I’ve been building games on the side for a while — Xonix tributes, Breakout reskins, weird little timing things — and at some point it stopped feeling like side projects and started feeling like a thing.

So: vibezilla is the thing. A small, hand-made arcade of browser games with vibe and intent. No installs, no app stores, no “rate us five stars,” no “watch this 30-second ad to continue.” Click and play.

The launch roster is three games.

Neonix — synthwave xonix, reborn

A 2026 reimagining of the 1984 territory-claim arcade classic. You carve off chunks of the playfield while neon lines hunt your trail. There’s no pacifism in it — get caught mid-cut and you die. I made the music for it myself. It’s the most fun I’ve had making a game in years.

Hormuz Breakout — the news cycle as a brick wall

Breakout, but every brick is a 2026 headline. Eight chapters. Twelve playable leaders. The Strait of Hormuz as your level layout. I started it during a war, with my eight-months-pregnant wife and I running to shelters; we needed something to laugh at. This is what came out.

One Button Golf — nine holes, one finger, infinite anger

Press space. Watch the meter. Time it wrong. Repeat for nine holes. The second-shortest game in the arcade and the angriest. Stays under four minutes per round; stays in your head longer.

why bother

I wrote a longer piece on this, but the short version: browser games are good again. The platforms have gotten heavy. The big stores want a cut and an SDK and a year of certifications. A browser game asks for none of that. You click. You play. You leave. You come back if you feel like it.

That’s the mode I want vibezilla to live in.

what’s next

There will be more — every couple of weeks, hopefully. I want each one to feel deliberate. No filler. No “we shipped this because the calendar said Tuesday.”

If you want to know when the next drop goes live, the email signup is below. One drop a week, when there’s something worth dropping. Nothing else.
